The “BE-Login App” enables secure two-factor authentication for the “BE-Login” login service. This app can be used instead of the previous security features “SMS code” or “code card”.

The “BE-Login app” can be set up in your personal profile on BE-Login (“My data” > “Security settings”) or during the initial registration. The app itself is then activated by reading a QR code or entering an activation code. It serves to clearly identify you as a user of BE-Login. This is done using an authentication request on the device (e.g. smartphone) on which you have installed and activated the “BE-Login App”.
